This couple’s nickname describes them perfectly, and also reflects their wedding weekend to a tee. What’s the nickname you might be wondering? “Alectrick” (Alexis + Patrick), which makes you instantly forget all the famous couple name combos of the past… Brangelina who? Catalina Island served as the backdrop for this Alectrick weekend, a quaint island town off the coast of Southern California. A quick (1 hour) ferry ride transports you to this tropical golf cart filled island getaway that holds a unique throwback charm. You instantly realize this sleepy little island hasn’t kept pace with the changes the mainland has undergone.
The day of their wedding the sun and clouds had as much fun as the wedding guests. It played with us all day, and made for some pretty epic photo-ops as we drove the couple around the island on our personal golf cart. Alexis and Patrick said their vows as the sun set in front of all their closest friends and family– it was a tear soaked bunch we can tell you that much. The night was followed by a seaside reception that consisted mostly of good food, good drinks and good dance moves! The newlyweds surprised all their guests with a choreographed dance to top it all off. Their wedding day was full of an abundance of love, life and that Alectrick energy!
