Jaime & Johnny got married on a beautiful Monday night in March at the Victorian in Santa Monica — exactly one year from the day Johnny proposed in Venice, Italy. The two met while working at a restaurant in Hermosa Beach, but it wasn’t until one of their friends/co-workers “set them up” that they started dating! That co-worker, was the one who had the honor of marrying the couple — how perfect is that!?
They were surrounded by a small group of family and close friends as they became husband and wife in the library room upstairs at the Victorian. This venue was perfect for the couple — classic and elegant, yet down-to-earth and beautiful all at the same time! This was important during Jaime’s wedding planning, because she wanted the night to be true to her and Johnny. Their loving nature and playful spirit shines through in their photos — we had such an incredible time following them around on their day. Johhny was particularly loving the way his new ring looked and felt, taking any opportunity he could to show it off. The only person that was able to steal a bit of their spotlight that day was the groom’s nephew who surprised everyone with a solo dance to Psy’s infamous “Gangnam Style”(it was even cuter than it sounds). We didn’t know such a little human could have such big moves– the crowd went wild!
They were sent off in style with a sparkler farewell to their honeymoon in Jamaica. The couple said that they had an incredible time relaxing and enjoying island life, but were honestly ready to come home and start their life together! And we think this sums them up perfectly.
